Spend one hour hearing the Classic Ensemble Vienna perform familiar classical works in the underground vaults of St. Peter’s Church. The program may include Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, and Schubert. You receive a concert ticket, program, and coat check. Arrive early for the best chance of a preferred seat.

Use your one-day ticket to explore Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum, from Egyptian and Roman antiquities to paintings by Rubens, Raphael, Vermeer, Velázquez, and Rembrandt. See Cellini’s goldwork, imperial jewels, automata, and the grand Klimt-decorated staircase. Bring a printed voucher and exchange it at the museum ticket office before entering.

Visit Mozart’s only surviving Vienna apartment, where he lived from 1784 to 1787 and composed The Marriage of Figaro. Three exhibition levels cover his Vienna years, work, and world, with adult and children’s audio guides. Add the Mozart and More ticket for entry to the interactive Haus der Musik.

Visit Vienna’s 1960s Danube Tower in scenic Danube Park with a skip-the-line ticket. A fast express lift takes you to the 150-meter observation decks for wide 360-degree views. Add time for the rotating café or restaurant, and remember that the tower slide costs extra. Weather can make or break the panorama.

Spend a self-guided day exploring Hohensalzburg Fortress above Salzburg. Walk up in 20 to 30 minutes or choose the funicular, then visit the Prince’s Chambers, Panorama Tour, Magic Theater, Castle Museum, and interactive medieval displays. The ticket costs about $17 and includes transport only with the funicular option.

Visit Vienna’s Albertina Museum for Monet-Picasso, changing exhibitions, and 20 restored Habsburg State Rooms. Your ticket covers the main museum and temporary exhibition areas. Allow at least two hours, or much longer if you read every label. Audio guides are available separately in several languages, subject to availability.

At Berggasse 19, explore Sigmund Freud’s former home, office, and practice at your own pace. See family rooms, rare editions, films from the 1930s, Freud and Anna Freud recordings, and the AR installation Freud’s Couch. Allow 1.5 to 3 hours, especially if you read every display.

Start at Dom Museum Wien in Stephansplatz to exchange your voucher for a ticket covering the museum, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, both towers, and a 30-minute catacomb tour. Use the cathedral audio guide at your own pace, then join an English or German guided visit below ground. The ticket remains valid for 365 days.
“It was easy. First go to the museum outside the cathedral to the left when facing the cathedral entrance. Then enter the cathedral to take the free audio tour which uses your smartphone so bring your ear buds! Don’t miss the stairs and lift up the towers. Then get in line for the catacombs which runs every 30 minutes. Then we went back to the museum which has its own audio tour on your phone. Very tastefully done and cleanest bathrooms. This was a “must see” for us and incredible.”
Visit Vienna’s Imperial Crypt beneath the Capuchin Church and see the ornate sarcophagi of Maria Theresia, Franz Joseph, Empress Elisabeth, and other Habsburgs. Plan roughly 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, or longer if you read every panel. The ticket is wheelchair accessible, valid for one day, and can be paired with an evening concert.

Spend a full day at Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, where the Chambers of Wonder, outdoor gardens, Crystal Cloud, family play tower, and huge Swarovski store turn crystal into art, architecture, and play. The €27 ticket includes admission, but not food, transport, or the optional €2 audioguide. Allow at least 2.5 hours, longer with children.

Visit Vienna’s Karlskirche with access to the church, treasury, organ loft, model, and panoramic terrace. An audioguide helps explain the Baroque interior, while the upper level gives you a fresh view of the altar and Vienna rooftops. Allow about 30 to 60 minutes. A guided tour is not included.

Use a full-day Panoramabahn ticket to explore Schönbrunn Palace Park without walking every path. Ride the loop, get off at any of nine stops, and return when ready. The audio guide is available in seven languages, and the train offers a practical way to reach the Gloriette, especially for families and people with limited mobility.
“It was really worth it, the park is huge so the train definitely helps to see the most important marks and the Audio guide helps us to know more of the story of these marks. It was comfortable and the fact that you can hop on hop off as much as you want, it’s definitely a plus!”

“I went there with my 15 year old and she was really scared so it was good to have something like this. She had fun n for us , it was fun too. We also really liked our host Marie who was really good and helpful.”

The Sisi Uncovered Experience adds Austrian history, while photo sets, props, and a wedding chapel keep the visit lively for families and pop-culture fans.
“I like this experience. It was amazing to see celebrities in wax. We really enjoyed the museum. Its better to buy the ticket online here because you can skip the line. And you better go in the morning when the museum is not so crowded.”
