“Amazing zoo where you can get very close to some of the animals. I enjoyed petting the cows and being close to the sheep. The price is decent. I havnt looked into the ethics of this zoo (I usually try not to go to them but it was my first time in Europe). I would hope they treat the animals kindly.”

Start in Gosau at 10 a.m. for a five to seven-hour guided e-bike ride through alpine pastures and mountain roads. Guides Karl or Wolfram lead groups of up to six, stopping at rustic huts for Austrian specialties such as Kaiserschmarrn and plum pofesen. You’ll visit Hallstatt, Plankensteinalm, and Gosausee before returning to the start point.

“By far the best part of my Austria trip! Just book it, you won’t regret it. Karl made this experience fun, informative and kept me up to date on our progress throughout the day. The bikes provided were in very good working order and the routes were safe and easy to navigate. Along the way, Karl becomes your personal photographer and really makes sure you’re having a good time. Even with a lunch stop (at the cutest place), the 6 hours really flew by. My only wish is that I had more time in Austria so I could do it again!”

“This tour is led by an amazing father-son team who are both fun and knowledgeable. We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 10-80 so it’s hard to find an activity that pleases all, but this one did! The salt mine was a highlight for the kids, especially riding the slides. The tour of Eagle’s Nest is also worth the trip - the views are amazing. Patrick and Manfred were able to point out and explain so many details along the way, the mountains in the famous Sound of Music scenes. Their personality and expertise really made the day great. I’d go on any tour that they were…”
